Central & South American
Central and South American coffees are characteristically mild, and leave a nice sweet finish. American palletes regard them as a regular cup.

African & Middle Eastern
Coffee was first cultivated on the horn of east Africa, in the nation now known as Ethiopia. African coffees are known for their winey character.

Indonesian
Indonesian coffees are known for their full body and earthy character. Usually larger beaned, the coffees develop a little slower and impart the regional characteristic more fully than others.

Organics, Naturals, and Exotics
Organic coffees can only be labeled as such if they meet the criteria of at least one of the three international certifying organizations. Naturals or "progressive" coffees tend to come from estates that share more of the revenue with the local farmers and workers. Exotic coffees are those whose supply is market restricted -- they can be rather pricey.

Dark Roasts
Dark Roasted coffees are roasted longer than our regular varietals for a full, smokey and European character. Any of our regional coffees can be roasted dark, and with a minimum order of ten pounds, we can custom roast them for you.

Our Own Blends
We roast all of our own coffees fresh here in Glen Arbor. We have an opportunity to craft many new and fun blends by combining a bit of this, a bit of that, and discovering which coffees compliment each other.

Premium Flavored Coffees
We flavor our coffees more subtly than many coffee companies. We don't want all of our attention and care overpowered with strong flavoring oils. The coffee's individual character still comes through.

Swiss Water Process Decafs
The water process is by far the most flavor-sensitive method of decaffeination. Only water is used to naturally draw the caffeine out of each bean. No methaline chloride or other harsh chemicals are used.
